2Pugs Design Product Shoot

My good friend Nancy Cohen and her wonderful friend Marion Bear have a passion for sewing. Together, they created 2Pugs Design which specializes in hand-made baby clothing and gifts. Did I mention that Nancy has two Pugs that she loves to death – Elvis and Romeo. I wonder where they got their business name…

Anyway, a while back Nancy asked if I could help them with some new photos for their website. "You know, since you take great pictures and have an adorable baby…" She’s so good at buttering me up. How could I say no??!!

Marion mailed the clothing items to me and George, Alana and I got to work. Alana and George actually took all the photos while I did everything humanly possible to keep Lily happy and in the pictures. Then again, we all did that. Definitely a group effort to pull off this shoot. For anyone who may be wondering, no, 11-month-olds DO NOT like to sit still.

I’m really excited we had the opportunity to get to see some of Nancy and Marion’s newest creations. I’ve bought a ton of baby gifts from them including quilts, touch-me-blankets and adorable clothes. One of Lily’s favorite snuggle-things is the quilt Nancy made for her. It’s totally machine washable, so we don’t worry about her dragging it around the house.

If you’re in the market for a shower gift or looking for something unique for your own baby, I can’t recommend 2Pugs Design enough. They even make beautiful full-size quilts. Dorothy wraps herself in one regularly. And of course, you can be certain that each item is made with lots of love by Nancy and Marion!
