Erin & Brandon’s Wedding

The first time I met Erin and Brandon, I was struck by how much Erin looked like my wife’s cousin Jamie.  And that’s a compliment either way.  As I got to know them, I quickly learned that her personality was similar too – bubbly, warm, and caring.  It was no wonder Brandon fell in love with her.

Erin and Brandon are the type of people that obviously like to help others.  He’s an IT manager and she’s an elementary school teacher.  Even though they serve two very different demographics, I’m guessing they sometimes have some similar experiences.

They met socially while out with friends.  He got her number and called her the next day.  They went on a first date and never stopped seeing each other.

Fast forward to their wedding day.  Erin & Brandon opted to see each other before the ceremony.  We did a reveal at the Sheep Pasture in Easton, MA with their friends and family looking on from above.  Brandon’s reaction was priceless.

Their ceremony was at Holy Cross Church in Easton, MA.  When we arrived, I had the opportunity to meet Erin’s students.  She asked me to take a group photo with them following the ceremony.  I chatted with them and plotted a surprise.  After the ceremony, we got the students together and then had Erin join us.  George took the standard photo.  I then stepped in and shouted, “1-2-3!”   The students went crazy.  What did Erin do?  She simply joined in.  It was priceless!

The reception was held at Lake View Pavillion in Foxborough, MA.  What I learned on the way there was that the guys in the wedding party had been friends with Brandon since they were in kindergarten and a bunch of them joined the Navy together.  To say they were tight-knit was an understatement.  They toasted Brandon with the “biggest mistakes Brandon has made” drawing tons of laughter from the guests.  They ended by letting him know that marrying Erin was the best decision he had ever made.

The rest of the night was dancing, dancing and some more dancing.  And there was the moment when one of the groomsmen grabbed a microphone and did his interpretation of  “Baby Got Back”.  Simply priceless.  And darn funny.

Erin and Brandon – Thank you for allowing us to share in your wedding day.  We had way too much fun!  Your love for each other is evident in the way you laugh and smile at each other.  Never stop laughing and you’ll never stop loving!
