Stephanie & Chris’s Wedding

My worldview doesn’t include a belief in former lives.  If it did though, I would guess that Stephanie and Chris were good friends of mine in a prior life.  Since the time I first met them, there was an easy familiarity with them.  Like we sat together in homeroom and hadn’t seen each other in a while.  Or maybe it was the principal’s office.  But I digress.

The day of Stephanie and Chris’s wedding, all the ladies were prepping Stephanie and Chris’s house.  It was the typical hustle and bustle of a wedding day.  Hair being done in one room – makeup in another.  Dresses, shoes, bags, and other accessories were everywhere.  It is so normal for me, I don’t even see the chaos anymore.

It wasn’t long before everything and everyone was packing up and heading to The Villa.  We would catch up with Chris and the guys there.    Stephanie slipped into her wedding dress while George photographed Chris and the guys outside.

Chris stood by the beautiful stone fireplace at the start of the ceremony.  The bridesmaids processed in.  As soon as Stephanie walked into sight, Chris was overwhelmed with emotion.  It didn’t take long for all the bridesmaids to join him.  It was a truly tender moment.  Seeing the one you love looking as beautiful as she ever has is powerful.

We took the formal photos outside on the beautiful grounds of The Villa.  We did a quick “everyone” photo on the edge of the golf course before moving onto the family and wedding party.  Stephanie had on magenta pumps that added a great pop of color to the photos.

The reception was all kinds of fun.  Apparently, something that happens with Stephanie and Chris’s group of friends is that they play spin the bottle in the middle of the dance floor.  Whoever the bottle points to has to dance or do something crazy in the middle of the dance floor.  Before I knew what was happening, I found the bottle pointed at me and then found myself doing a skip/hop/twirl as fast as I could across the floor.  I hope George deleted those pics…

Stephanie and Chris – we had tons of fun celebrating your wedding day with you!  Thank you so much for the opportunity!  Anytime you want to grab an ice cream at Peaceful Meadows and get assaulted by a cow, just let me know!! :-)
